When it comes to this problem there are several answers and we may have to look into which situation is yours.
The first thing to do is a full reboot
of your system. This needs to be done exactly as instructed. First,
you will need to turn off all equipment, meaning lap-tops, wireless printers,
and PCs that link to your router if you have one. Then, unplug the power plug
for the router. Then, unplug the plug for the Motorola power supply that
attaches to your antenna on the roof. Wait 3 minutes, then plug in the Motorola
Power supply only, wait three more minutes, then plug in the router. Wait 3
additional minutes and then turn on one computer or device at a time. This
usually takes care of most connection problems.
Secondly if you have a Linksys router and it number
is BFX-41 you will have to call us to get some special settings for the
router. We are also researching other routers that may have this same
problem.
If you do not have a router and it seems to be
doing the same thing, please call us 920-994-2388 for some special settings.
Check the settings in your mail program that
may not be "reading" that your are off-line. If it is checked, uncheck it.
You may have a setting in
email that is incorrectly set. If you are using Outlook Express, click the tab that
is called "Connections". Remove the checkmark from "Disconnect after sending
and receiving", and you should be able to check mail without disconnecting
It is any software that gathers a user's information
through the ueser's Intenet connection without his or her knowledge, usually for
advertising purposes.
Spyware is
similar to a Trojan Horse in that users unknowingly install the product when
they install something else. A common way to become a victim of spyware is to
download certain peer-to-peer file-swapping products that are available today.
Aside from the issues of ethics
and privacy, spyware
steals from the user by using the computer's memory resources and by eating
bandwidth as it sends information back to the spyware's home base via the user's
Internet connection. Because spyware is using memory and system resources, the
applications running in the background can lead to system crashes or general
system instability.
Because spyware exists as independent executable programs, they have the ability to monitor
keystrokes, scan files on the hard drive, snoop other applications, such as
chat programs or word processors, install other spyware programs, read
cookies, change the default home page on the Web browser,
consistently relaying this information back to the spyware author who will
either use it for advertising/marketing purposes or sell the information to
another party.
These programs help protect your computer against
pop-ups, slow performance, and security threats caused by spyware and other
unwanted software. See Info on Spam also.

This happens because of the settings in your mail
program, such as Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. Many people with
Dial-Up have settings so that mail comes to you in Text version. All that
needs to be done is to change a few settings and it will correct itself. In
Outlook Express, go to Tools, Options, Read, and uncheck the "Read all
messages in plain text". In Microsoft Outlook, go to Tools, Options, Mail,
Mail format and set all settings to “HTML” instead of “Text”.
