OUTLOOK EXPRESS
INSTRUCTIONS
Configuration of NConnect Internet email accounts in Outlook
Express
1.
Open Outlook Express and then
click on
Tools,
and then Accounts.
2.
Select the Mail
tab by clicking on it. Then highlight
mail.nconnect.net mail account you need to
modify by clicking on it and then click on Properties.

Configure the General tab to fit your
specific information. Set the Name to match yours and
add your
Full Email address. When finished click Apply.

4.
Click on the Servers
Tab. Setup the fields as shown by entering
pop.nconnect.net in the Incoming (pop3) area and the
smtp.nconnect.net in the Outgoing mail(SMTP) area
as in the picture below. Enter your email
address in the Account Name field, and enter the password you
created in the webmail setup into the password field. Do
Not check Log on Secure Password Authentication.
Click My Server Requires Authentication.
Then click on Settings,
and verify that Use same
settings as my incoming mail server is checked, click OK
and OK again, and then click Close.


5.
Click OK
and
Close and you are finished.
Web Mail, for
access away from home, may be accessed via either:
( just type on to the address bar:
mail.bertramwireless.com
or webmail.nconnect.net
and the address bar will convert it to the http in front of it)
