Configuration of NConnect Internet email accounts in Microsoft Outlook

1. Open your Thunderbird and click Tools and Account Settings. Then click on Server Settings.  Change Server Name to pop.nconnect.net, and set User Name to your full email address.  It should look like below.

2. Click on Outgoing Server (SMTP), then click on the Edit button.

3. Set the description to Bertram, and configure other fields to match the screen shot shown below by adding the server name to read: smtp.nconnect.net.  Check the box Use name and password. Substitute your email address in the User Name field.

4.  Click OK and then OK again.  Your thunderbird should now work on the new mail system.

Web Mail, for access away from home, may be accessed via either:

http://mail.bertramwireless.com  http://webmail.nconnect.net

( just type on to the address bar: mail.bertramwireless.com   webmail.nconnect.net                   and the address bar will convert it to the http in front of it)
